The Electricty4Gas guide is written by a man
that has actually converted gas cars to electric vehicles and therefore speaks with credibility. Peter Millward’s
writing is clear, straight forward and includes the necessary steps.
The author informs his readers that the book contains no fluff - Just the
essentials. I would agree with his statement but I found that compared to other products on the market this book is
complete relative to the big picture but a little skimpy in the small details. In fact only 44 out of 66 pages have
to do with the conversion and 22 pages are what appears to be an exhaustive world wide list of organizations to
contact for additional information.
For example these plans recommend finding a small car to convert but other conversion guides specify which
specific models and years with which they have had the most success. It’s the small details that make it possible
for someone handy but, not necessarily a professional mechanic, to succeed at this project.
This manual is indeed probably better suited to an experienced or even professional mechanic that can fill in
the missing details with their own years of experience. Yet even a seasoned mechanical genius may benefit by some
of the other available guides that offer more specifics than Electricity4Gas.

The good news is that Gas2Electricity was written by a man that
appears to have actually converted gas cars to electric instead of just writing about the work of
This guide is uneven in it coverage of the major topics. For example, a 10 page
section on batteries types is interesting but somewhat overdone and yet another critical chapter on installing the
motor contains only one page and has no illustrations.
The writing contains lots of long paragraphs with run-on sentences that result in
a tedious read. A serious lack of photographs and other illustrations make some of the written descriptions
confusing and incomplete.
The bottom line is that while technically all of the major topics are covered but,
in actuality only a seasoned mechanic will be able to read between the lines and build this project. Other plans on
the market do a far better job in guiding the reader through the process.
It is for these reasons that I cannot recommend the Gas2Electric Vehicle

Did You Know This Not A New Idea?
According to the authors of Convert2EV, Les and Jane Oke, “this is
not an original idea, to build an electric car; the idea has existed for many years. This is, however, an
original plan for building an electric car using inexpensive sources of parts and simple building techniques…
that any handyman or woman can follow.”
Do You Think We Should Wait For Our Government To Fix The Oil Mess For
I have come to the conclusion that we cannot wait for nor should we expect the Oil
Companies or our Governments to make the escalating fuel costs and pollution problem go away in a timely manner. I
don't believe that they are evil but I do think they have too much of a conflict of interest because of profit
concerns, their need to protect jobs and gasoline tax revenues at stake to be able to help us
